Thailand, the Land of Smiles is located in the heart of Southeast Asia. Pattaya is a city in Thailand on the east coast of the Gulf of Thailand and southeast of Bangkok. Pattaya is one of the largest tourism centers in Thailand. In 2004, Thailand had over five million visitors.
Traveling around Thailand is fairly easy. Local transportation while not as comfortable as you might be used too is cheap and plentiful. You don’t have to travel long to get where you need to go when touring around Pattaya. If arriving in Bangkok you can quickly and easily get to any other city within a day by your choice of air, bus, train or taxi. By far the fastest way of travel is by air and you can experience the beautiful scenery of Thailand.
Pattaya Thailand and all it has to Offer.
Pattaya Beaches - Pattaya is most known for its beaches. Pattaya Beach is located along the central city with shopping, hotels and bars in close proximity. You can soak up the sun, get a massage, rent a jet ski, order great food or people watch.
Golf in Pattaya – Is like that of a golfers paradise for both high and low handicappers. There are twenty plus standard golf courses that are located within an hours distance in Pattaya. You could play golf at a different golf course every day for two weeks and you still would not have played at half of the golf courses in Pattaya.
Many of the golf courses are country clubs designed by famous designer ssuch as Nicklaus and Faldo. You will find manicured greens, raked traps and live caddies and beautiful views.
Scuba Diving – Pattaya isn’t quite as known for scuba diving as it is jet-skiing, golfing and the beaches. But it does have diving conditions that are year round. There are many dive shops and schools that have day trips to the islands in the Gulf of Thailand off Pattaya Bay. The diving area has soft and hard coral, various species of marine life and shipwrecks.
Attractions and Activities in Pattaya range from Buddhist Temples to Riplye’s Museums and tropical gardens. Activities include chilling out on the beach, riding horses or shooting guns. There are plenty of attractions and activities for you or you and your family to keep you busy and occupied while soaking up all that Thailand has to offer.
